Eyes.. on fire. Skin... on fire. Hair... burnt off.

Oh beloved swim team. Super. Yesterdays workout wasn't too shabby. Some odd woman came to train us. She said we could be the greatest team if... (there's always an if ) our hearts were in it. And we're not that in love with swimming.

But today was different.

in a heinous way.

Walking into the pool lobby, chatting it up with one of the Fonseca brethren, I smelt something quite odd. Chlorine. You see, the pool hasn't been open to the public for a few days, therefore. No need for chlorine. The swim team's obviously not worth the extra cost. But today was, like I said, different.

The smell only got stronger as I walked on deck. I turned to Carrie who was practically gagging from the fumes and shook my head. "She better not make us swim in this."

" Get in girls. Practice started 6 minutes ago! "

Instantly my reflexes launched me into the pool at the sound of Lisa's voice. She has me trained well.

At the same time my head went under, my skin caught on fire. Literally. On fire. It wasn't just me either, the other swimmers who had obediantly gotten into the pool were staring at their arms as well, almost as if to make sure their skin was still intact.

We did the first set with difficultly. A toxic layer of fumes had settled on top of the water making it almost impossibly to breath.

Lost story short.

My nose hairs are gone.

as well as the color of my suit.

it's a faint gray-blue color.

Lovely.

and yes. I think I may continue this blog. As long as life goes smoothly and there are things to write about I'll share them through this.

- Tanner's back from California as of yesterday, early morning hours.
- Megs comes back today!
- I leave Tuesday...
- I'm shy apparently, and don't like to make friends. Therefore, I'm socially challenged.
- Tanner can't drive, therefore he's socially challenged.
- We're perfect together
- I went to the rodeo with Bridger and his buds. I like them. I like them a lot. There are 3 fat cowboys at least. And 3 others who have facial hair. What men.
- We went to Betos last night with Tanner's posssay. One of them choked because he forgot to chew. Apparently it happens often.
- I saw Jordan! ! How I miss that boy!
- Tanner and I spend the end of the night watching a knights tale with his cripple brother. He got stitches in his knee. Sad day
-Jake Daniels got a snake. It's beautiful! I want one so so bad. That or a dog. Either will do. I just need something that'll be reliable forever.

I can't even describe how amazing efy was. my testimony grew, I made everlasting friends, and had the best experience of my life.



let's get down to business

pictures will come later in one huge mega picture post yeah? This is merely a documentary of the happenings at E.F.Y. Provo Utah, BYU 2B.

Monday

- arrived at efy with Megs and Jen, ready for an amazing week.
- our dorm was quaint. One bathroom to be shared with 6 women, our room had one 4 outlet plugs meaning limited electronic use, and lovely hard beds.
- our councilors were lovely. Dru and Baley. I luff them.
- our girls were amazing, every single one of them had a sweet personality and spirit.
- our boys... wow. How was I so blessed with such a talented, cute, funny, and spiritual bunch of boys.
- Richie and Paul... If I wasn't jail bait they'd be my men.
-after getting settled in I went to lunch in a little cafe with Megs and the family. We were stared at my 3 or 4 creepy old men. I have a video of them which will be unloaded.
- I was wounded on the top of my left foot. It's a raw rug burn that hurt the majority of the week. But I survived.
- Gospel study every morning was the best. Being able to read and write in my journal for 20 minutes was such a blessing.
- classes started Tuesday. Every class had something interesting and sometimes boring to offer. But all in all, they were amazing.
- Lunch was eaten as a company unlike last year. After only the first day we were all the best of friends. Especially the fantastic 9- Sid, Megs, Jordan, Tanner, Jeff, Brad, Alyssa, and Chi. Those seven individuals only made efy more amazing.
- Richie's never been kissed, and he's 24. He got crap for that.
- The boys made him 2 paper bag girlfriends. They are hat hat hat.
- I've never danced so crazy in public before. Everyone in a 4 mile radius saw my insane moves.
- Because of questionable weather both dances were held inside. This meaning both sessions were combined totalling to a total of 2100 kids in a single ballroom pop lock and dropping it.
- It was sweaty, cramped, and hot. End of story.
- Our company won 2nd for the banner and cheer competition. Pretty dang good for doing both in less then half an hour.
- Tanner makes a lovely "have joy boy"
- Escorting is awkward.
- Going to bed at 1 or later and waking up at 6 every morning is NAT a good idea.
- Brad is the king of pick up lines, I was made aware at 1:12 a.m. when he called and blessed me with 20 minutes of non stop pick up lines.
- The boys also sang to Megs and I. They made Enrique proud with their remix of hero.
- Pizza night was the bomb diggity. The boys wrote lovely questions on a pizza box and delivered it to our dorm, along with a dozen napkin roses smelling of cologne. We in turn made a question pizza box and answered theirs. Apparently men like women who are voluptuous and who don't fart.
- Tanner and Jordan performed a lovely rendition of Love story for the variety show. Jordan can sport a mustache and Tanner can definitely break it down
- I'm going to kiss Brad on the back of a Brumbi horse just like in man from snowy river. It's destiny.
-I took a dare from Tanner and ate a spoonful of mustard for a dollar.
- That's how I got the nickname lil Sid the mustard Kid.
- I didn't eat dinner the whole week. Instead I ate ice cream and goodies.
- Chi's little brother is my future husband, as well as Tanner.
- I've never cried so much in my life... but it was mostly because of the spirit I was feeling every second of every day.
